Regulars

I am really enjoying having lots of my "regulars" come in to the shop.  Here are some of my regulars, as well as some new dogs that came to see me last week:

Peanut and Buck are two of my favorite Chihuahuas!
Lyla and Buddy come to see me every 2 weeks.  Buddy wouldn't stop giving Lyla kisses when I was trying to take this picture.  So cute!
Butler BEFORE
Butler AFTER his very first groom!  He did a great job!
Butler and his brother, Champ.
Isn't Champ a handsome boy?  He is half Shih Tzu, half Chinese Crested.
Dottie BEFORE
Dottie AFTER.  I was really happy with the way the whitening shampoo brightened her coat.  It had been a while since Dottie's last groom, so her owner and I agreed that the best thing to do would be to give her a Summer shave.  Now we can start fresh and with regular grooming appointments, we can grow out her hair a bit.
Hanna BEFORE
Hanna AFTER.  Hanna is Dottie's sister, and we gave her a close shave for the same reason as with Dottie.  Hanna was such a quiet, patient dog for me.  She is a really good girl!  I enjoyed grooming her a lot!
Dottie snuggled up to Hanna's leg.  I am so looking forward to having these two as regulars in my shop!
Daisy Mae and Chloe came back to see me today.  These two are great little dogs!
I cut Daisy a little shorter this time.  She is so good at getting groomed!  She just turns when i want her to and stands still for me while I get the job done.  Love this Yorkie!

We are going GREEN! Sort of...

I feel like I am getting too busy to blog lately!  So I've packed quite a few pictures in to this post.  Enjoy!
Belle BEFORE
Belle AFTER
Tucker BEFORE
Tucker AFTER - All my clients this day were shocked to see a green dog in the shop!  I think he looks like he belongs in the Emerald City!

Ebony came to visit again!  I love this sweet girl!
Nellie and Stella are two of the sweetest Springer Spaniels I've ever groomed!  Aren't they cute together?
Annie came to me a couple weeks ago because she had been limping and her owners thought maybe her nails needed trimmed.  Her nails were fine, but I found mats and burs in the fur between her toes.  I was able to cut them out, and her owner told me she started walking better right away!  She liked it so much in my shop, she came back for a full groom!  It felt good to be able to help this sweet dog!
Jack BEFORE
Jack AFTER - Jack came in just to get his Mohawk trimmed and to get bathed.
A side view of Jack's Mohawk.  He hates getting it trimmed, but he sure sits still for me while I put the hair gel on him.  I think he likes getting all done up!
Lily's owners saw that she was getting some mats on her back, so they brought her in right away for a shave.  I love that they put her comfort first, and brought her to me before the mats got too bad.
Bear BEFORE
Bear AFTER - I think he feels much better without all those mats!
Isn't Ebbe so cute?!  I left this little poodle's legs long, but gave her body a nice summer cut!
Waggles BEFORE
Waggles AFTER - My friend brought her dog in today, so she saw Waggles before her shave, and then came back after Waggles had been shaved.  My friend couldn't believe the difference, especially with Waggles' face.  Waggles sat so still for me while I groomed her, it made it much easier to shave the mats off.
Luna came back to see me today.  She has been getting groomed every 6 weeks to cut back on shedding around the house.  Her owner says it has made a big difference.  When I groomed her today, I got much less fur out in the brush than last time.  Regular grooming can be healthy for dogs and owners alike!  Luna's owner told me that after her last groom, they had taken her out and lots of people were commenting on how soft her fur was.  I love getting positive feedback!
