Staying Busy!

I am staying busy and get booked out further and further, which feels so good!  I have a lot more confidence while grooming than when I first started.  I am truly loving my job, and all the new pets I get to work with!

This week, Teegan the Cocker Spaniel and Cora the Jack Russell Terrier came in together.  Poor Cora has separation anxiety, but once I put her in the kennel with her "brother" Teegan, she did so much better!  These two were so sweet!  They kept giving me puppy kisses (in my ears) whenever I got my face close enough for a love.  It was so fun having both of them in the shop!
Teegan's owner likes to get him cut really short for Summer, so I didn't do the typical Cocker Spaniel cut on him:

Bandit is a foster dog that came in this week.  We think he is some sort of Spaniel mix.  I think he is so handsome!  He was extremely well behaved for me!  Anyone want to take him home?  :)
(Foster dogs get groomed for 1/2 price, and once adopted, their new owners can get the first grooming done at 1/2 off, too.)
For Bandit, I just trimmed some feathers and behind his ears where there were some mats, and gave him an overall cleaner look.

Sophie is a toy poodle who came to my shop for the first time this week.  She is an older rescue dog, and is so sweet!  Her owner was referred to me by another client of mine.  (I LOVE referrals!)

Cruella came to visit me again.  I adore her!  Instead of being groomed, she really just wanted to play: play with the clippers, play with the scissors, play with the comb and brush, play with me...!  It reminded me of trying to keep my girls out of everything when they were younger!  :)  By the end of being groomed, she was so worn out, I could hardly get her to stand for a picture.  It must be rough to be a puppy.  :)  Cruella comes in to see me every 6 weeks, and I so love getting to groom her!  This time, we went a little shorter than last time, but still kept her fluffy to keep that puppy look.

Ebony is one of my favorites!  She a sweet old black lab, and does everything I ask of her.  She will soon be getting a new "sister", a Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie cross) who will be coming to see me.  I can't wait!  (Hopefully Miss Ebony will teach that Morkie to be as calm and sweet as she is!)
